I spent many happy holidays there as a child; my family were close to the previous owners. Always wondered what became of it and I'm very happy to hear that it is now being loved and restored. The old ballroom was used to store pumpkins for a while and I was there in 1994 for the massive auction, which took all day. Must have been 2000 akubra hats there!
regards, Lisa | | | | great journal! You have a most refreshing outlook on everything, thanks for sharing your adventures. I laughed, I cried, ok, I didn't cry, but I did laugh, t'anx. | | | | Yo. I just read your travel journal for the first time today because I finally realized that the link is on your facebook profile. Whoops.
Well, I'll probably see you soon, seeing as how you come back from le farm tomorrow.
PS: I just want you to know that traveljournals.net just refused to allow me to type in my city/town as "C-Berra." Lame to the max. | | | | Oh dear god. Please tell me that you aren't seriously going to eat an ox penis. I kiss that mouth... | |
