Wow. German is very European-looking in architecture, but very different from Spanish-style. I also noticed that the streets are not so narrow. The memorial to the Jews was interesting. And Museum Island. How wild to think about what modern-day history took place there. I loved hearing your descriptions Sunday and look forward to reading your journal on Berlin. Your pictures of Portugal make me want to go there and as you know I've never had any real desire to get to Europe. I love the tile roof's and the castle! Love the patio pictures - you are quite the photographer! Love your pictures of the stairways and always your feet in the sand! Sorry it looked so cloudy.
