Hi i need some train advice... I want to train from either Florence or Venice in Italy to Genoa and no to Marseilles. Is it possible to buy 1 ticket and break it up (ie get off train and get on a bit later the same day)?

Also, any tips on taking a night train? Am thinking of taking a night train from venice to genoa. do they come with beds and if so are they v expensive ot are they regualar upright seats? |
