These things just keeping getting more hilarious--washed ALL the clothes in the sink, huh? Good thing I gave you that clothesline and laundry soap...I hope you have not run out of soap yet since you have a month of travels left. And thank goodness you guys didn't take jeans or anything although it sounds like its hot enough to dry things hanging out of a window--bet the hotel would not like that. Enjoy the refrig...funny how its the little things that we forget to appreciate everyday!
Enjoy Rome--it has to be beautiful...one of the few foreign places I would like to see someday. Love Mom |

Ok, guys, so I'm just catching up to y'all. I've just fininshed reading about your expedition to
see the science museum. (Warner, I'm so glad you talked Ellen into this, but i guess you'll have to go see the Sound of Music set!)
My question is about Galileo's lens. You said that the lens helped him see Jupiter AND HIS LITTLE FINGER?!
hahahah
Sorry, slow day at work!

Hey guys--I love reading your messages! Sounds like you are having fun, but for God's sake, get a hotel room for a night to thaw out! The pictures are so beautiful! LIfe here is about the same. I've been taking the kids to the pool--Greta is now pretty comfortable in the water and Henry is his usual dare devil self. That kid has no fear! Otherwise, things around here are boring. The highlight of my week is that a wren made a nest in our garage. The 7 babies left the nest yesterday and Greta and I got to watch the whole thing! Pretty cool. Anyway, I think about y'all all the time and hope that the trip is everything you wanted it to be! |

Well it looks like you figured out how to get pictures on here...Now I have to go back and reread all the entires that match the pictures. You should take some pics of the folks you are meeting too esp the cool ones. Loved how you froze to death in the tent, all to save a few bucks. Well the hotel stay is coming up soon. You guys will probably think you have died and gone to heaven when you get to stay there. Good thing you took those pants you really didn't like Ellen. Germany looked cold and dreary as you said. Can't wait to see pics from sunny Italy although it sounds like it is cold again?--maybe just at night. You two were spoiled with all the hot humid weather you left behind here. And man are we still having that!!
carini trying to bolt out the door more each day..water bottle back in place. Stupid cat!
Love Mom. |

well Milan wasn't even on the list...how am I suppose to follow the list if you guys are changing it? I guess the frat boys were just too much and you had to get out of dodge. My how things have changed, huh...sounded like you Ellen, your freshman year at LSU...maybe they were all freshman. Too bad Switzerland wasn't longer but I bet you could spend the rest of the month in Italy esp if the weather is nice. Enjoy the food, scenery and weather. Love Mom |

Where the hell are you guys? I have no warm body to sleep on at night. Grams is doing a fine job of keeping this litter box emptied--that lug of a dog never gets a chance to stick his big ugly head in there. And Grams keeps the food and water cup full. She sort of is lacking on the treat department and doesn't play with that stick thing as much as you did, Mom. But she does let me lie for hours by this warm computer and her lap is nice and soft in the evening. I've only tried to escape once but Grams caught my head in the door when I tried to bolt...guess I wasn't fast enough. At least she opens the curtains in that clean, orderly, empty back room so I can at least look at those funny lizards and birds. Oh well I hope I get to go outside some day. I sure do miss you guys. Love, your cute adorable Carini |

Man, It's been a long strange trip. Somehow I jumped on the wrong plane and by the time I woke up, it was 7 below. Down here, they live underground. Toliets don't exist because when you poop, it turns into ice and gets covered up after the next snow devil. I just can't help but think that a few hundred thousand years from now, someone will look at my frozen poop and exclaim "Whatever left this must have had Lucky Charms before depositing this wonderful artifact!!!" I miss you guys and as soon as I can figure out how to upload pictures of my travels, I'll send them to you. Cheers! Next stop The Great Barrier Reef- Surfs Up Dude. |
