We think we have deciphered the last journal entry but may wait til you get home to make sure! Mum reckons she needs the latest photo of the beard and dreadlocks (if they're coming along nicely) to decide whether or not they are a good thing. I dont need to see them to know they are a disgrace. Off to see Shakespeare in the Park tonight- some of the culture that you just cant get in Barrington! |

You had better be careful my dear because that chap who had to sleep in the hammock WILL get his foreign-style revenge on you and I'm quite certain it will be somewhat painful so look out my dear!
I, of course, can sympathize with this inability to climb up onto top bunks due to the old leg and hip problems. This is the reason I am still as up myself as ever - unable to climb down you see....and never will *grin*. The Mouse is NOT doing a lot of climbing just at the moment as the twins are being somewhat cumbersome but well, that is HER fault, of course, my dear *pat, pat*. *Mouse just gave me a rather threatening rodent-type look but fear not, I am vaccinated! This was necessary at the time I took my place at the SA due to being on a team with yourself, Mr. French and the absent Welfare Officer....*evil grin**
Missing you dreadfully but not as much as the casino, because I am told their profits have plummeted severely now that you are NOT spending your 2 dollars a month. Sorry..make that FIVE dollars...you know what my maths is like!
The Sugar-Coated Earthquakes MUST be published, my dear, I absolutely insist! I want to see my name in large letters on the acknowledgement page! (Grant and the other one also want their names on the page *shakes head* - poor misguided little things - fancy imagining they are as important as Moi!?!
By the way, for some reason, the postcard which I KNOW you have sent us has not yet arrived....do these folk use Camel post?
But seriously, dear. We all DO miss you and I am already looking forward to regular dinners, chats about ancient ruins (Catherine B) and games of Trivial Pursuit which, naturally, you will win...IF I let you....
