Welcome to my travel pages! My name is Joe and I live in Baltimore, MD with my wife Yuliya, and our two cats Leopald and Napoleon. We are both students who work really hard and love to travel any chance we get. It's quite a plus that my wife isn't from the U.S., so we have an excuse to fly around the world! My in-laws live in Almaty, Kazakhstan- which opens the door for many oppurtunities for us to travel to outside countries. Last year we stopped in Kiev, Ukraine on our way to Almaty, to spend some time with her, or our relatives. This year our itinerary is pretty much the same- Kiev first, then back to Alamty, only this time for a month!!!! Then from Almaty to Urumqi, Xinjiang, China. 2009 is a big year for us as far as travelling goes. We've just returned from an amazing vacation in Costa Rica. The coutry is beautiful and we're sad that we had to return home. Oh well, only a couple more months until our big trip back to Eastern Europe/ Central Asia...school must come first.
Anyway, we'll be posting pictures soon of past travels and we will keep this journal updated with current and future travel. We hope you enjoy our pics/stories and we look forward to reading as many as we can! | | | |
