Since I've been away, I've not had a chance to read through the entries, so have just noticed Mickey speculating on the state of our flat. Now I know why you've been pestering me to get a cleaner in before you get back, cheers for that Mickey! FYI the flat is immaculate. I would go as far as to say it is cleaner and tidier than when you left.
Not long now till you get home. Apart from me, I think the cat has missed you most. When I got back the other day she got really hyper and followed me around for the biggest part of a day. Can you imagine what she'll be like when she sees you!! I might need to put some sedatives in her food on Thursday. See you Thursday xxx |

Hey Babe
Sorry... was going to leave you a joint msg with Gemma but had to get home. Sounds like you are having a blast!!!! Seeing the pictures reminds me so much of Thailand and I so wish I was there!!! Doesn't sound like it's been all good though but you will walk away and always remember the good things about your trip and the bad things will fade into the distance. To make you feel better it is raining again today......and yesterday and the day before that.....So you are going to look like one of those Noth Lanarkshire girls who fell asleep on the sun bed!! Love the monk storey and can't wait to hear all the other stories you come back with!!! Love Steve |

Hi Victoria
Your latest journal entry is excellent. I am so pleased I can hear it in your words that you are getting a greater understanding of the people you are there to help. Also from your own perspective you are gaining a reality check into what really is important and you are able to see that.It is wonderful also that your friends at home are eager to help and I have know doubt that you will continue to raise money ect for the people of Vietnam. You know what A Connie is like she will be on a mission. Whilst you are busy with this Ian poor boy is away raising money for the Cale-challenge you are both good kids.your lesson with the monks sounds very interesting and enteraining. Have a nice break over the week-end and enjoy the children. please do not continue to sit in the sun. Love you very much Mum xxx |

Hey vic
sounds like you have settled and are doing incredibly well - and getting very deep. you are turning into one of those hippy weirdos you were talking about in your early blogs! please don't come home wearing a kaftan with dirty hair, eating felafel and talkign about harmonising with the clouds.
seriously, you really are doing an incredible thing which i certainly couldn't! We finally have broadband up and running so d is gonna leave you a message over the weekend - she sends her love.
also she was wondering if there is any way we can send money - wondered if maybe we could put money in your bamnk account or something and you could take it out over there and buy stuff you know the kids need and would love! if not we will maybe just send stuff but thought that was best way
glad you are doing much better. i reckon your flat is probably looking much like vietnamese streets by now - ian had run out of ironed shirts last week so was in a panic!
take care x |
