I have been working there this summer (during a month) and it has been an EXPERIENCE. Now there are more than 600 "niños", imagine the big amount of kisses that I recieved... I'd love to hear about your trek to Choquequirao. We are leaving for Peru next week and are currently planning on hiking there. Would you recommend hiking it on our own (we do not speak Spanish, but are able-bodied students) or should we pay the big bucks to a tour agency? Hope to hear soon!

Hey you two! We met at Miramar (my boyfriend is the American sucio de Jairo) and then we crossed paths again in Parque Tayrona....we were supposed to take a cab together, but we arrived late. It was fun to find your "travel log," ah how I yearn to return to the park! Best of luck, perhaps our paths will cross again.

Hola!! If you get to Venezuela, you will learn that word! Now that you are in Colombia, I am so jealous that I had to write to wish you the best in your trip. I want to be in Colombia so badly, so I am kind of living vicariously through your updates!
