I'd love to hear about your trek to Choquequirao. We are leaving for Peru next week and are currently planning on hiking there. Would you recommend hiking it on our own (we do not speak Spanish, but are able-bodied students) or should we pay the big bucks to a tour agency? Hope to hear soon!

Hey you two! We met at Miramar (my boyfriend is the American sucio de Jairo) and then we crossed paths again in Parque Tayrona....we were supposed to take a cab together, but we arrived late. It was fun to find your "travel log," ah how I yearn to return to the park! Best of luck, perhaps our paths will cross again.

Hola!! If you get to Venezuela, you will learn that word! Now that you are in Colombia, I am so jealous that I had to write to wish you the best in your trip. I want to be in Colombia so badly, so I am kind of living vicariously through your updates!

Muchas gracias.

Hey guys. Sorry I haven't been in touch, but I've been spending alot of time with my friend stress lately. It's good to see you're still alive and kicking- and taking a well deserved break. Those photos are the best collection I've ever seen. And you only read about Irish bearded star fish in books so I'm quite jealous. Happy New Year you two! I hope you've enjoyed your break, but now it's time for more adventure so I can live vicariously through you.
