I found your travel diary when I did a Google search for "Woodside Flats", which is where I lived when I was an exchange student in Swansea in 1996/97 myself. Your photos of the student village, the Gower and Wales in general brought back lots of pleasant memories. Thanks!

Hi! Very nice photos from lovely places in Europe! My family went to Wales in 2000 to pic up our daughter after sailing in the Irish Sea. Actually we visited Pembroke Castle and Stockpole just like you! I will put in some photos from there later on (Wildflower. Hope your studies will be interesting! greetings from South of Sweden!

Hey, I came across this when randomly searching for stuff to combat my homesickness. I'm in the opposite situation to you - a Swansea student spending a year in SUNY Albany. It's so wonderful to see things are still the same in the old mother country. Seems like you're having a great time and I don't blame you. Swansea is such a great city! As I read through your entries I suddenly saw stuff I never realised I missed - like the Orange House and Time (I'm more of an Escape man myself) and the student village (go House 30!) and the little things around the campus. Keep having a great time!!! - jon

Teri- Are you coming back for the first ULead meeting this Wednesday? We are barely able to survive without you, but we'll try to get through the semester somehow. I've enjoyed reading about your travels - thanks for sharing them. Miss you!
