My little girl letting strange men buy you drinks! I am just so surprised ..... well, just a little surprised .... o.k. I'm sure it was harmless. Anyway, you obviously weren't abducted, and made it safely back to your place. Mambo Americano sounds really fun. Oh to be young again. I'd love to learn to salsa, but I don't think my hips will move in that direction anymore.
Keep on having fun! Love you! Mom |

Glad you're getting out and mingling with your charlantes. You will make friends that you can stay in contact with forever. Too bad you didn't get to see more of the inside of Xalapa. Next time.
Love you! |

Hey Trace! What a blissful time just sitting in the Milwaukee Public Library reading your amazing adventures! Your journal entries really convey your surroundings; I can almost hear the waves and salsa music. Can't wait to read the upcoming entires and ask about your trip in person in July. Keep postin'! |

You're a bit more than half way through now ... and I miss you a lot! However, I'm so glad you are where you are right now .. and that you're sharing your trip with us through the journal. I know you're getting more and more fluent, and you'll be insufferable when you get back (just kidding). Keep on having adventures.
Love you! |

How wonderful your experiences sound. Man are you gonna hate it when you get back....:)
I want and need to be spat upon. I have acquired a stalker/client.
Maxx indeed does pine for you and has left small, hard turds all over the house in your honor. I am THRILLED that you are having these experiences. You have much better self-control than I. I'd have been with the diggers by now and kicked out of school.
If you get a chance, log onto the Slantagraph. You won't believe what you're going to see.
Love and miss you hon,
