Hi Tracey. Your adventure sound like so much fun, even if it does involve homework sometimes. I hope you get to have many "feed your soul" moments while you are there. Don't worry about your guys -- I went over yesterday and spent some time there napping and reading on the sofa with much feline assistance. They're doing great. Talk to you soon. EK |

What a thrill to get a call from you earlier today. I know you won't be able to do that too often .. but the more the better!! Your trip to "Monkey Island" this weekend sounds great! You're quite the adventurer now! Oh to be young and have a few dollars to spend on travel! I'm so happy you're living out my fantasies for me (well some of them)!
I know you miss your friends and family (not necessarily in that order), but your 3 weeks will be up before you know it. Have a great time while you're there. Love you! Mom |

Hiya girlie! Life there sounds laid back and then some...maybe I really SHOULD visit. Sigh...
you sound like you are actually settling in very well. And such a nice man to let you go potty! I am enjoying your entries and am glad it is what you wanted. Enjoy the clean air!
Is it time for you to come back yet?!!? |

Hi Trace!!
Gee whiz i miss you! Everything there sounds so beautiful! I am so excited for you, and your pic on this site is really cute, by the way. My espanol class started as well, i have a feeling our experiences are very different, however. So far the classes are muy long, boring as coinois (sp? that is shit in spanish) and I am contemplating muerte-ing myself. As you can see, the lovely language is not coming as freely as I'd hoped :)
I will try to get to Heartlands computer as often as possible, but am currently refusing to get online at my house, it just takes too long. Zeke and the pups send their love. I think of you every day and hope you are having a wonderful time. Can't wait to read your next entry, and i'll be in touch as soon as possible!!!
Miss and love you--

Hi Babe: It's Wed. morning and I'm missing hearing your voice. Grandma and I will be leaving Friday morning for Canada so I won't have a chance to visit your web site till I get back. I will call you and leave a message once we get up there. Keep working hard and enjoy. Once more - You can sleep when you get home. Have fun and love you bunches. Dad |

Hiya-Good to know where you are is beautiful! I agree with Hoot-makes me want to travel to pretty places!!! I look forward to the pics when you get back. And yes, I did chuckle about the almost biting it on the streets. I am glad to know that just the physicalness of walking is the most dangerous part! LOL :) You will be so good when you get back you will have to teach us all. So no worries on whose in front for now!Glad it is all you had hoped for and more! Love, T |

Veracruz sounds like a paradise! Your descriptions are giving me itchy feet for travel. Don't be too worried about your classmates' abilities - I know you will get caught up and excel as the shining star you are. :) Your day trips sound like they are a blast - good way to get to know the city. Thanks for the updates. |

Hello Tracey. Just to let you know I stopped in on the critters today and all is well. The temperature in the house is pleasant, and there is no evidence of kitties gone wild. Todd stretched out the length of the coffee table and held the remote control with both paws, and laid his head on it like a pillow. We did not watch tv today. Kiya bunny-kicked the blue blanket, Baby was on a chair under the dining room table eying me warily, and Ella was way back under your bed. Todd was very suspicious when I took the leftover lettuce out the front door with me, and had to sniff it and me. I hope you are having a total blast and come home with lots of great tales of adventure! Always, Ellen |
