Hi Mat & Julie -- was thinking about you both and hope you're doing well. Did you see -- Scott McCloud has a new book on comics coming out this month? I saw the news and figured I'd drop you a line. :) Also, where is the link to the comic you had published (I couldn't find it, sorry!)

Hey Mat, it was so cool to see your cartoon in world Jewish digest. Mazel Tov! I enjoyed it! Fun to see your name on the cover with Mathue Roth and a spot on the contributors blurb inside. Way to go! I hear you and Julie are back in the USA and figuring out next steps. When you're in town, I'd love to see you and catch up. All the best, Judy All the best

i haven't kept track of you guys that well, but i just saw efraim in nyc and he told me you were returning to the states this spring. it was my grandmother's birthday that called me back from israel almost two years ago . . . i hope you move graceful with grief and through this next stage of life. would love to be in your presence when you find your way back to cleveland. 216 548 7587 peace, marianne

Hi Mat and Julie, Mat I am so sorry to hear about your grandmother. I hope she had a full and happy life. I hope the next step in both your lives takes you to wonderful places, new (or old but good) experiences. Having moved back to Toronto after being away for 5 years I know what it's like to have everything change on you. But change is good as you well know and it's good to have you back in North America (even if we can't see you cause you are still so far from us). Keep well. Love, Lisa & Matt

Hi Guys, We've got news! Well, you can probably guess what it is ;) I can't believe you are actually coming back!!! It must be so hard to leave! Please get in touch with us when you decide what the next phase of your journey will include. I would suggest looking into Canadian cities (Toronto and Montreal) for interesting Jewish communities and maybe places like Phoenix and New Orleans for the States. If you decide to visit family in Cleveland please keep us in mind for a visit during the High Holidays and you'll get to see our little surprise that's set to arrive early mid-Sept. ;)

Smell the flowers for me! And bake lots of muffins too. It's cold and gray here, and it seems like Spring will NEVER come! Miss you both lots, btw.

Shalom! I love hearing the 3-hour Israel radio program your (Julie's) mom forwarded to me(especially where you both speak). It's just amazing. I play it over and over again in my classroom when I'm doing paperwork. What a joy! Stay Happy. Much Love. Sara
