I also volunteered at Sanlaap in Calcutta so it was so fun to see your pictures. The pictures of the children who lived next to the sewer broke my heart because they were so dear to me.....it's wonderful to see how they've grown. The same goes for the girls at the shelter. It's wonderful that you painted the walls in their sleeping room.....it was too institutional last time I visited. Also...seeing pictures of Suchrita...wow....it takes me way back to my journey in Calcutta a few years ago. I'd love to get in touch with you to chat about the changes being made at Sanlaap. I was the first group of volunteers to work in the Drop in Centers and girls shelter. I'm interested how they've structured the volunteer projects and how it's being run. If you get a chance to send me an email I'd love to hear from you!!! I'm planning on taking a group of volunteers to Sanlaap next spring and would like to be updated by a recent volunteer. Thanks for reading the long message. Again, thank you for the pictures..it's such a wonderful feeling to see the children and how they've grown. Take Care- Anna

Utterly disappointed by your choice of dress... not nearly nerdy enough... and I like the fact that you don't want any stalkers so post both of your mobile numbers on a public website?! Right, enough Jewish mumma stuff from me. Make sure you stay warm and eat well. I'll just sit here all on my own, don't mind me. Love you loads. Look after yourself and tell all those stalkers exactly what your big sister does to men who come near her sister...

Hey Tash, are you disappointed that your month long holiday is not as cushty as you were hoping. what are all these good works you are doing? i thought you just made all that up so your dad would help you out with the funding. i think i'm just overwhelmed i'd always assumed that i was (marginally) a better person than you, but have clearly been proved wrong. hope you can shake off some of your hippines before you get back xxx

Hey Tash!! Thanks for sending me the link!! Its great to keep up with what you're doing!!! : D Ahaha - that cockroach?! Who told you that if you squished 'em they'd multiply x 10?! LOL! :P Oh, also, they can climb up walls, fly, AND squish into TINY spaces - the WIDTH of a twenty cent coin - a rupee your way! Buy some repellent - insect ANd special cockroach stuff too, if you really hate 'em. At the mo, we dont have them cos its winter, we have the horrible, man-killing spiders tho... hmmm... care to trade? (Hopegully your friend will become "Helen, the fearless spider killer"!) And damn straight about them cockroaches surviving the bloody ice age! Have TONS of fun, and keep me posted!!! -isa ps. GOOD LUCK!!!
