Its day 3 in Hong Kong and we did the top tourist thing and went up to the Peak top in a tram - see the photo of myself and the boys at the very top overlooking misty Hong Kong.

Yesterday we visited the far side of the island, a picturesque bay called Stanley where we went to a trashy market and ate our first authentic Dim Sum. There were local school children carrying out a survey and trying to improve their English, the small ones interviewed Nigel and in unison said Welcome to Hong Kong. Sam got interviewed by a gaggle of giggling teenage girls and I got all of that on Video !

Last night we took the Star Ferry across to Kowloon and watched the night lights display on the HK Island, tried to calculate the amout of excess power used, but gave up and enjoyed the show instead! We then got lost trying to find our restaurant, but Nigel used his logic that it was in the tallest building so he found it having pestered a number of locals who all sent us in the wrong direction. We had a real traditional Chinese meal and avoided the fish heads and such like.

The people here are incredibly friendly even some of the taxi guys and the cost of transport is incredibly cheep typically a few euro to get anywhere local.

Tonight is market night where we will buy all the fake stuff and tomorrow evening we head home. But first it is to the gym to panic early ...
