Hi guys Sounds like you are still having a great time and are being 'travellers', rather than 'tourists'!! Don't forget your wonderful loving mother in all the haggling for handbags - any jewellery? Only kidding. I'm counting down the days, but I guess you aren't. Love mum

Hi Stephen & Christine. I have been following your trip with interest. Seems like you are having a great time. My news is that I have been talked into going back to work, and I have started as lead civil engineer with Ausenco, a mining design consultant, at their Brisbane office at Eight Mile Plains. By coincidence, one of the jobs I am working on is a mine at Nui Phao, near Thai Nguyen which is 80 km. north of Hanoi. The rail line and national highway go through Nui Phao and will need to relocated around the proposed new mine. I don't think your itinery takes you through this area, but if you do get to go through this region, have a look around for me. In the meantime, I look forward to reading your next journal - Dad.

Hi Chrisie and Steve Sounds like you are continuing to have a great time. Love the photos and can't wait to see more when you get home. Have tried phoning but am told I have the wrong phone number in two or three languages!! Pretty much the same things happening here. Have powerpoint and hockey working bee today. Got new glasses yesterday. Last weekend took my car to get the bonnet cut and polished and instead of backing it out they crashed it into a wall ! So been without a car all week. Been told it will be ready Monday so hope so. I guess a sad way to get a shiny new bonnet. Sonja and Steve move out this week into share a house at Narangba. Most of their stuff in storage. Hopefully the house loan approval will come through soon to get the ball rolling. Only Div 1, 2, 3 teams this year. Div 3 half half Div 3 & 5 from last year but doing okay. Thought it might be too high, but they're looking good. Mumma and Opa going camping this week, lucky them. We're counting down to Easter to go away with the Bundy Wilsons. Keep having a great time. Miss you heaps Love mum

Hey kids. Wow, sounds like you are having a great experience. What have you learnt about Asian plumbing so far? Your excursion up the river sounds like something you would expect to happen in Cambodia. My question is, where were the goats and chickens??? You should have seen them tied to the roof. Craig and I have just gotten an brand new apartment to rent in Chermside. 10 min walk from the shopping centre. We will have to have you for dinner when you get back. Normal Aussie food I promise!! Do the eggs taste funny? Thats what I remembered about Thailand. Hope you guys are having crazy fun. Kisses and hugs. Kat

Wow, sore bottoms now but wonderful memories to tell your grandchildren later. Biggest thrill we have had is going to Dreamworld for Jazmin's birthday. Starting to pack up the house, so know where we would rather be. Miss You both.
