It's Fri. am and I'm assuming your mom is there in one piece and you are on your way to Granada. I'm excited for you both- have a great weekend trip and then a good week, and then fun in Barcelona. I'm sure you will become a regular world traveller, Carol! Steph, keep up the good journal entries-it's fun to read them. And Happy Birthday!

Happy Belated Birthday, Steph! Hope it was terrific in Spain. This is a wonderful way of knowing where you are and how you are doing. You are so bright and courageous! We are really enjoying your travels and the photos are outstanding. I pray that the Lord will continue to bless you and keep you safely in His loving Hands. I love you, Steph.

Yay Sevilla and the traveling! And you have Ernesto and Nano!! They were my favorite classes. Nano is incredible and I have fun stories about Ernesto :). Are you loving looking at all the piled rocks they call ruins... it does seem not as impressive as I imagined it would be. But then again, to say you saw them is pretty cool. As for the churros, if you haven't already found a place, one of the best places is right off of Santa Maria La Blanca right behind the underground parking off of Mendez y Palayo. I don't know names of places... just where they are. Try potato churros dipped in a manchado (or cafe con leche). It's amazing, even better than con chocolate. There's also a really good place just around the corner by the school. At the weird intersection (not by the Cathedral) turn left and it's nearby... or ask Ernesto, he knows everything. (and teaches arobic dance classes at a gym).

Hi Stephanie! It's taken me awhile to figure out this computer stuff, but I got to this place all by myself! Sounds like you're getting to know your area. How were those Roman ruins? I think it's so neat that you are over there. Every time I see Jeff I ask him why wouldn't he go to Spain for spring break, but he seems to think that doing things with friends might be more fun. We have a new driveway and half a pool deck now. Have a great weeek!!

Hi Stephanie Sounds like you are having a ball. Reminds me of my exchange/college tour in Sweden too many years ago. Be safe, and have a great time. Every minute can be a wonderful memory.

Integration Phase (love your senora?) 5. Re-Entry Shock (no way!) You may even want to visit Paris (under different circumstances of course) again soon :) Love you! Mom

Hey Steph, I can't believe you are actually going to Spain. I am so jealous of you. I read your journal entries and it sounded like you were having a ton of fun in San Fran! I'm flying out there for my Spring Break in March and will get to spend the day by myself there before I get on the BART and manage my way to Julie's. I don't know if you really remember Bernie from Julie's wedding (the guy taking all the pictures=0) but he is thinking of going to Spain at the end of this Spring semester, probably sometime in May. It's a class being offered through our Spanish department here at UNM. He is already 100% fluent in Spanish (his first language, English is his second) so it would be more like a vacation for him! Anyways, I think it is totaly awesome your doing this and I wish you the best traveler's luck (if there is such a thing) Keep safe and have the most fun!!! Luv Ya, your cuz
