Congratulations on your engagement mate. You make an excellent couple. Thanks to Aurore for remembering my birthday. Sounds like you are having an awesome time.

James, don't believe them when they tell you that "priority" tags mean your luggage arrives first on the carousel. In my experience flying business class for 2.5 years (the latter 1.5 years as a Diamond Club Gold Card holder), my bags always seemed to arrive last when they had the "priority" tag on them. I think all baggage handlers are marxists.

Hi James and Aurore. Thanks for the postcard - it's good to know you both love Boobies!

You didn't mention if you really started a fight (or if Aurore encouraged you to start one)... Another still open thread is the birthday present for your girl friend (btw, happy birthday Aurore!). Have a nice journey!

It is not an 'English' grey squirrel. The only squirrel native to the UK is the red squirrel. The grey is a 19th century interlopper from north america. Oh & have a good time etc. J

Glad you're back out there. Hysterically jealous. I want a numb arse and a near certainty of drowning....... No seriously - I always thought you should have finished what you started. I for one am so hungry to get back out there myself - even a military coup in Thailand has got me thinking - 'I wish I was still there....' Keep us updated. I for one will be riveted.

WHAT???????? i had NO idea that you were leaving so soon! Ive just left japan and have been in China for a few days, and i thought that on my return to England I would get the chance to see you! When you come back, I will most probably be in Japan again!! What bad timing!

Sorry to hear about your shaving accident, James. Now consider this conundrum: in a small town, the barber shaves every man who does not shave himself. Who shaves the barber?

Planet Kolob? Hmmm... what's "Kolob" backwards? I think it's a wind-up.

James! Just keep on missing you! Glad you have a travel buddy now! We no longer need to worry about you! We're in Chiang Mai and sorry we missed you!

Sorry Han, couldn't stop the pic getting posted! Missing the beer already so make sure you guys drink several for me. James, nice to see that you've managed to pick up girls for a change. Should I be jealous? ;-)Mrs James (apparently)
