Your pictures look great! The dolphins in Argentina are lovely, and they really do look like small Killer Whales! I always thought dolphins were blue or gray before I saw your journal. Thanks for sharing your trip there!

I always thought La Paz sounded really exotic, it appears that it is. All those heads, ' freaky ? ' I wonder if they will come back to haunt you ? Malcolm.

Your pictures are fab as always and the journals are interesting and funny at the same time. It's great to finally realise your dream Karen, I can just imagine the scene at Machu Pichu, all that amazing scenery and Ross running around looking for some bushes! Can't believe you've had food poisoning 3 times in 6 weeks, that's not fair!

I think Ben and Lisa know me a bit too well! I also laughed in Peru at a brand called 'Fanny Jam' - which, admit it, is well funny!

Hi Guys, We have just been catching up on the latest installments. It looks great... Be honest though Karen, did Ross laugh like a loon at the phrase "Lake Titicaca"? Knowing what he's like, my guess would be almost certainly yes ;-)... Anyway, have a great time and see you soon.

It's been great reading about your travels. I'm coming up behind you doing something similar - I'm at Bonito in the Pantanal at the moment and after we cross into Bolivia to see Che's last stand, we'll be making our way up Peru. So thanks for writing - you're blogs have helped me put a mental image to some of the names on the map. -a-

No astronauts, just Zippy from Rainbow! A lot of places we visited in Peru reminded me of the pictures of my parents' visit. Not running backwards yet, Kavita. We keep telling people we've only got 5/6 weeks left and they look at us and say: 'Oh poor you! We only have 2 weeks in total!' We'll soon be back to those kind of hols... booooooooooo!

Hilary wouln't like to garden on all those terraces, and there are too many steps, all the pictures are brilliant, you're really honing your photographic skills. The terracing seems a hard way to grow your food. a bit like Holmfirth really. Thought of your mum and dad at Machu Pichu. Did you see any astronauts at Nasca?

LoL. Karen's face says it all in the "Buy a guinea pig or rabbit for your stewing pot!" photo. I imagine Vicky's face would have been the same - well about the rabbits at least. Reckon she'd be up for eating a guinea pig though!
