Hi Mary,
You are home! I think I must have 'clicked' wrong when I visited your site last and thought there were no journal entries. Thanks for including elk city in your journal. we have had no rain since you were here and none this winter.
i planted my garden early and the little seedlings i started and planted in the garden didn't care for me to leave for 5 days this past week. when i returned i couldn't ever find them. the tulips are gorgeous tho and i will have to cover them tonight.
freeze warning. enjoy your garden. i hope you find a wonderful community near family.

Uh, Mary, I think I'll just go to your regular email. You seem to be behind in your journal keeping. hey, who has time for this when the blue highways are calling?
I would like to know how you picked The Elk City United Methodist Church for your sunday worship service on March 8, 2009. (thought that might help with your journal!)
We loved having you in our Sunday School class. Your reading was eloquent. And I loved worshiping next to you. It gave me new eyes for our service. I hope it gave you spiritual food for the journey.
Stop in Elk city again and we'll show you the rt 66 museum, a home cooked meal and a few extra square feet for a night, a free laundry, some road "downtime". And we'd love to hear your story. Deannie and Jim Rule |

What a wonderful Idea to have a journal. I have enjoyed reading of your various stops. I would love to do that, andmay when I get my son in a more stable situation.
The journal will also be a great record for you. I loved having you here, to be made a part of a glorious trip. Bless you both, and safe driving, God willing. |
