Going to South America had been on my "Must do" list
for years. I usually go on a trip each year to some
remote part of the planet where there are no Maccas,
muggers or mobile phones.

Certainly there have been problems, mainly from doing
it on the cheap. However I have been to a lot of great
places and met a lot of wonderful people on the way.

For a 1937 model like me it sure beats sitting in a
rocking chair. I think I will go to the Congo next.
