I liked Byron, although my hostel was a bit odd!! I had asurf lesson there which was fab. Never made it to Cheeky Monkeys though - although it seems the trend in Oz for them not to let you get a little merry in Clubs, we werent allowed in a club in Surfers for the same reason, spoilsports!!
I did the same when seeing the Opera House and Bridge - I plonked myself down in the Botanical Gardens overlooking them and just sat there absorbing it all for a good few hours, then I decided the Opera house needed a good lick of paint!!

Aaaah, fab pics of the Apostles brings back a flood of memories of my road trip from Adelaide to Melbourne in my little Hyundai! I nearly cried when I got to the Apostles as they were one of the things I'd been waiting to see.

Good to hear from you. What a fancy website. You know the monsoon will be upon Phuket now, don't you? I'm sure you're well informed and don't blunder around haphazardly like me, but thought I'd mention it. I expect you'll be partying hard with the 23yr olds at Had Rin most of the time anyway. Glad to hear you are alive! I was only asking Manesh about you on Saturday night, as I hadn't heard aything!
We're making a bit of an impact in the allotment, but not much progress with the rotivator yet, so hopfully next weekend we'll go and do that. No sign yet of the Shed being removed, but in the meantime we're working on tidying up all the broken glass and scrap metal which is strewn all over the place!
We've got pictures and a video for you to have a look at which we'll post tonight on Picassa.
