Welcome to my travel pages!
I'm from Slovakia, currently a student at the University of Brighton, East Sussex, UK. My parents gave me the name Peter, so WHY the name PAKOpeter? It's because PAKO means GOOF in Slovak :) and I like to goof off a lot.
Anyhow, I have travelled all round Europe (well, almost), been to Thailand, USA (Arkansas ;)), UK (England), and my primary aim at this travellers' site is to inform everyone about my home country SLOVAKIA.
I was utterly upset and disappointed with the way Americans presented Slovakia to the world in their movies... Showing the capital city BRATISLAVA as a dirty gipsy ghetto made me feel really bad (The Eurotrip).
The idea that you could actually buy a hotel for a nickel is also quite dishonouring... and absolutely wrong.
I will try to do my best in presenting my beloved little country in the heart of Europe to you.
