Welcome to Nicole's travel pages! This is all about my amazing trip to COSTA RICA, where my good friend Melanie and I volunteered in helping the Leatherback turtles with an Earthwatch Project. This was a 10 day program near Tamarindo, on Playa Grande. We also had a few days to ourselves and had adventures in San Jose and the Cloud Forest of Mounteverde. We felt it would be great to experience a different culture, have adventure, and help out all at the same time. This site seems like a great idea- I get to share my trip, relive it, and always remember it.....until the next adventure abroad. If you don't already know me, and are just visiting the site, a little background info will paint a better picture of my travels: I'm 26 and worked as the photographer for the last 10 months at a Native American archaeological site in Los Angeles, California. I am also from L.A., and have a B.A. in Fine Arts with an emphasis in photography. That's me....Onward then with the travels! "The road goes ever on and on Down from the road where it began. Now far ahead the Road has gone, And I must follow if I can..." -J.R.R. Tolkien | | | |
