well this is the first time i have ever been able to view my website!!! well i wanted to say high to everyone and thank you for lookiing at my website and keeping track of my year....but!!! i didnt write all those letters that my mom wrote and said i did on my website. i am really embaressed and yeah, i am sorry ik havent been able to write the letters myself. but dont believe everything she writes, lol. my family had fun reading all the letters my mom wrote and i translated for them. tonight is just a regular school night, we had supper and are trying to arrange plans for everyone next thursday where all four of us have to be different places, at different times, on different trains. confusing, eh? i get to take the shinkhansen though and thats cool. i love all of you and miss you. kelsie sweety, keep working hard in school. colton, dont fight with your teachers too much. nina thank you for keeping in contact with me and writing such sweet letters.

Hi Mindy! Wow, it sounds like you've been REALLY busy in Japan! I haven't e-mailed as much as I've wanted to, and I'm sorry about that. I'll be sending you a nice, long e-mail in the near future. Everything has been pretty good here in Minnesota so far in 2007. We haven't had as much snow here in New Hope as we usually do, but that's nice because then Frank and I don't have to shovel the driveway every week! School is starting back up again for us, and because I got into "Robin Hood" I'll be pretty busy juggling that with piano lessons, choir practice, schoolwork, and YEAH classes. I know I'm not anywhere near as busy as you are, though. I'll talk to you later! Cate

Hi Mindy! You don't know me but I am going to live in Japan for a year starting in March 2007 for a job and wanted to see what people on traveljournals were saying about it. Any good pointers for me before I head out there? I'm trying to learn as much Japanese as I can before I go out there, and I know that the summers are hot and the winters are cold. So far, that's it. Any advice would help. Thanks! You look like you're having a blst!

Hi Minge! It was so good to actually talk to you and hear your voice. I will be mailing you a package in a couple days. Let me know if there is a specific phone card they use there that I can purchase for you here and mail so you don't ring up a bill. Anything you need-let us know. Hey Mindy! I just wanted to say hey! I saw Meghan at the lake the other day and she told me you were in Japan for a year!
