What a great site- how fun to travel with you, sort of! Your pictures make me really want to visit France. We get so close it's crazy not to. Next time maybe. Your mom will have to give me a few French lessons so I can pronounce a thing or two! I know you're studying hard so it's nice to see you're having fun too. :) See you when you get home! Julie | | | | HI Meredith -- really enjoyed your travelogue. I sure agree with you on Firenze being a wonderful place to visit. And you really are having a great experience in France. What great photos! Let us hear more from you -- I especially am interested in the school experience -- what classes are you taking and is it close to your experience in college in America?
Love you, Grandma | | | | Hey Baby,
Sounds like a ton of fun! I'm glad you liked Italy, it is such a great country! Your stories make me want to go back - NOW!!!!
Did you get to explore outside of Florence and into rural Tuscany? Any Italian boyfriends? HAHA! What kind of food did you eat there? Hope you had some Italian pizza out of the brick oven with one part of the crust burned a little - took us a while to figure out that that is normal (closer to the fire). Don't you just love the scooters and little motorbikes - friggin crazy people! Red lights are fun too, aren't they? Everyone thinks they are an F1 driver when the light turns green.
I hope you're having fun with your family - are you learning more about daily life? It sounds like a cool townhouse too, and I didn't realize how old Angers was either. Looking forward to your pictures and more stories.
Good luck in classes, how are they compared to American Universities?
Tried to call your cell, but got a French recording - I think you were unavailable (relying on my restaurant French!) If not, I just left a message for some French guy.
Love ya tons,
Dad | |
