Glad you made it to Malaysia after all the traumas of recent weeks. However, we didn't care much for the comment in your e-mail '... and bumped into 2 sharks'!! Bala Lake would have been much safer, I'm sure, even though a bit colder! Take care. Lots of love, Mum and Dad

Enjoyed another interesting update of your travels, but whats with the following about your travel companions "scarred by years spent living in Bordon (Hampshire. If you don't know it, don't ask. If you do, you know what I mean). " Dont know what you mean!!!!

Hi Mike, Enjoed the latest escapades immensely. You obviously hold a special attraction - remember the Virgin Megastore escape? With such a varied experience of mounts during your voyages thought you might get a career bas a jockey when you get back - if all else fails. But the photos are wonderful too - so possibly photographer? Keep sending the news to keep Mum's blood-pressure up and hope the next stage of the adventure continues to fulfil your dreams. Love Auntie F

Hey mate. You sound like you are having both a tough but rewarding time on your Indian leg of the journey. Keep up the sense of humour and all will be well with the world...apart from Blues in the prem that is but you can't have everything eh?! Mark and Gaz arrive in Shanghai Sunday so I'll be dusting down and refining my to do list following the test run with you! Keep up the entertaining journal!

Hey Mike, they say that you either love India or you hate it, I loved it, but then again I went there in the 'winter'. I feel guilty now about having suggested the 2 day camel safari, although I think the amazing views of the stars at night may have made up for it a little, thank god!!!As for Agra Station, I had a few of my least pleasant hours in India there, not the nicest place on Earth and we nearly missed our train as well........you'll look back on it all and laugh. Keep having an awesome time, looking forward to seeing you in Oz, if you ever make it here!!X

Thanks for the parcel from China. We've had a lovely time looking at all your photos etc. We particularly enjoyed the videos - the birthday message from Everest and the children on the bus in Nepal singing Country Road! Good to see that Clarrie Blue the Villan is enjoying himself and looking after you wherever you go! Lots of love, Mum and Dad
