Czesc Mala! Your update and lovely pics certainly brightened up a dreary day in DC. I bid Patch farewell last night - he's psyched to see you guys. I also found out that my Bulgaria/Turkey plan may not work out as scheduled, since Tsetsi is supposed to be in Florida as of next month! So if that doesn't work, I might have to be exploring other vacation options! :) Maybe if I go protest at a mine site, I won't have to use vacation days! Have fun and keep your chlopak in line! miss you!

Happy New Year or should we say Feliz Ano Nuevo to the South American travelers. Thanks for the phone message about your safe arrival in Lima. We were excited to see your first journal entry with pics from Peru. So this year instead of koalas and penguins you have encounters with monkeys and turtles! Keep the journal entries coming as we dodge the snow and you enjoy summer once again! Talk to you soon.

Mala, Ok I've finished school, left my job, packed my bags... when are we leaving? What do you mean you already left? Woah, and you're back? Kidding of course; jealousy has turned me into a sarcarstic bastid! I've pretty much caught up on the journals, and all those pictures, man you should go pro with that camera. I'm so amazed, feeling real sheltered ya know; thanks alot. I know you're outbound again, but I still hope to see ya at the Open Mic. You must have a traveling song or two.

Hey Mala! I came across your journal and just wanted to say that it has kept me inspired for future travels. I've always wanted to do a RTW trip, but never took the first step, but I guess I need to, right? Anyways keep up the great writing, and pics. I'm at aussie_msc

Hi! OK! I definitely want to see those Amsterdam pictures when you get back. They sound like they will be very interesting. I didn't think the pictures could get any better but they are all one better then the next. Can you believe everything you are doing and have done? Enjoy! Enjoy!

Hello travelers, I can't tell you how fun and reassuring it is to read your journals. Being the mother of one of the fellow travellers, it brings such joy to our household each time we read the latest news. I'm glad you all are back together again. I know Molly's solo experiences in Paris , Barcelona and Munich were wonderful, but there's nothing like companions in world-tours to make the experiences that much richer. Enjoy Amsterdam and the rest of your time together. And Melissa - keep us in the loop as you continue your writing career - you have a real talent. Thanks for the pictures - and memories. Hi! I'm one of The Lust Tea Ladies, which your mom must have told you about! We had a delightful lunch together at The Teapot on Saturday. She updated us on your travels, and this site is a wonderful way to travel with you. Enjoy every moment of this MOMENTOUS - educational - growing experience - and life altering journey! Love, Doreen
