My traveling companion is off seeing giant snakes in a "snake man" house down the road somewhere. Too poor to be able to follow him I settled in to write a travel journal. After finishing that I had time to kill on my hands and I came across your journal. Instead of reading about South America like I had planned I ended up reading all about my home country through someone else's eyes. Apart from the Sydney obsession it was a pleasant read and I got the urge to tell you so. So thank you.

Interesting life you have been leading.... I just got married to a wonderful Polish girl here in the Portland and got to go traveling around Europe last summer! Your profile sparked me to write because if you find the secret to settling down without settling please let me know! We are currently trying to figure out how to do all of the traveling we want and need to do and juggle the careers and personal goals as well... Good luck and Congratulations! |

I just got back from 1st trip to Poland--I fell IN LOVE with this country and the people there!! I am so happy for you to be able to live there--I would do it in an instant. The language is tough--just when I think I have it right...well, you know. Thanks for sharing your journey! |
