M & J,just happened on your journal & pics today, last day of 2007. I was browsing for info, my eldest son is presently working with the US Peace Corp in Tumbes, Peru. He too loves the country & sends us many interesting photos. We were hoping to possibly visit him before he returns home for good next winter. Your journal entrys are interesting & your photos remarkable. Hope life is good for you in 2008. Marilyn

Looks like you guys are having a ball. I'm a bit jealous, I must say. It looks gorgeous. Mirs, I'm back to practicing law. I'm att he Public Defender's office in Riverside and loving it. I think keeping our thug nation free may have been my calling. Kennedy is almost one now and the light of my life. Hopefull you can make it out to Cali for a visit sometime when you get back. Happy New Year's, have a ball!

Hi, So nice to hear and read of all your ventures and new experiences. My recent trip to the UC, Mexico and guatemala was both enjoyable and interesting. sorry I did not get to Peru too. I was told by some people in Antigua that Peru is a good place to visit. Maybe another time. I am sure I will hear all about it from Barbara whenshe gets back. Weather here is glorious and there is nenever a dull moment. Am very interested in hearing what you are going to do once you settle down a little bit. Glad to hear that Miriam got to teach Yoga as she wanted. I am sure that getting out of NY into another world is quite an experience. Consider yourselves lucky that you are able and can afford this incredible life experience. I would love to hear from you, love, Rachel

Pictures are so beautiful and it sounds like you're having an amazing time! Extremely jealous. Miss you when I have a chance to think about anything other than vampires! Jessica
