These are great pictures, Larry! America has beauty and your pictures testify to that. Only speck on two of the pictures were these to unknowns, one of them appearing to be a symbiosis of John Wayne and Klint Eastwood and the other a more traditional gentleman who spends most of his work life behind a desk or something. |

Hi Larry, you real trooper! Combining cross-country vehicle travel and camping hot and cold with emergency invasive surgery performed far away from Sibley Hospital!
Was sorry to hear about this untimely break in your journey but glad that the procedure seems to have gone well.

Hey Larry did you manage to see the eclipse of the moon the other day? Today is Tuesday the 29th so it must have been Monday am the 28th. Guess you would have had to set the alarm before dawn to catch it but it could have been quite a view from the clear air out your way. |

Larry, you are amazing! I wonder where you get the time to translate all the documents I have been sending to you and still enjoy your trip. Claudia |

Larry (alias Lawrence): We've been enjoying your writing - is that what a "blog" is? Can't wait to see the pictures. Have fun! See you in September. |

Hi Larry, I just got the email notification of your blog, out my SPAM folder in AOL! Loved the picture of the overloaded car. By now, you are headed out of Tucson and back towards New Mexico. |

A very good idea, Larry! Having finally left the United States and just returned here from our own long trip, Margaret and I can now follow your various adventures on the big continent and therefore retain our nostalgic feelings for the country of the bushes.
It's probably nine o'clock Sunday evening in your spot, so have a good night. Here is already noon time on Monday but I just broused through the Star newspaper and can therefore reassure you that nothing dramatic in the world will happen during the fifteen hours that will take you from your time zone to ours.
Best regards,
Margaret and Staffan |

Hi Larry!
We missed you "the morning after!" As a dear friend of mine says, you really know how to pet an old dog!
It will be nice to be able to keep track of you.
Enjoy it all,
Carole
