Happy Christmas Louise!! Sent you a text just after midnight. Hope you got it ok. I haven't a clue what time it is with you right now, but we are thinking about you and hoping you have had a nice Christmas. It is nearly Christmas dinner time here in Newtown and it is very frosty, cloudy and grey here. We have been to church this morning. Patrick Mulholland is here at the moment - tradition - he always comes down to us on Christmas morning - its the child in him and our boys - they may be 22, 21 and 19, but still "children at heart". Was out at your house on Christina's birthday and from what was said your three sisters are still "children at heart" too!! Denise was so excited and was adamant that the pressies would have to be left out as usual, just like Santa days. We are looking forward to tonight, when the Anderson clan arrive. Won't be the same without you, but we'll try. Will be thinking about you. You've got to weigh up the experience you are having to having Christmas at home! Is there a comparison?? Haven't sent a message in a wee while. Very busy here - too much marking!! Hope you are well and happy. Aaron and Nathan finish up in Stran on Friday, so they will be home bag and baggage and we will have to get used to an untidy house again!! Lots of rain here and dull dark days. I finish school next Friday. We are going to London for the new year - over to Helen's sister from Sunday to Wednesday and planning to go up to London on New Year's eve to a show and then stay for the celebrations at midnight!! That's the plan, but we might be put off by rain, like last year!! Hoping the Anderson clan are coming in to us on Christmas night - we will miss you, of course! hey lou so hows ur work goin?? Im jus gettin settled bck in ere 2day, dont feel like doin much with bn away for a wile, still feel in the holiday mood!! Tried sending u a msg on this from lanzarote but it wudnt let me put that name in!! Tried usin Spain instead but my time run up on the computer, was ragin!!
Well i had a brill time anyway!!! The 1st few days we jus took it easy and went to the beach and that! Wed we went on a trip up to the north of the island and went to these lava caves that formed from the volcanoe, we walked through them for bout an hour!! We had somthin to eat in the valley of thousand palms and then went to a few other view points, was pretty amazin, 4 frighter jets flew past us to at eye level at 1 of these viewpoints was class!! Thurs we went on another trip to the volcanoes that are still alive, was a whole load of demonstrations, the ground was actually hot below u, an there was a restaurant on the top which cooked all its foods over a hole in the ground a few meters deep, u cudnt even put ur head ova it, was roastin!! We wer then took around the lava strips then we got a ride on the camels, after that we had lunch and then went wine testing, was pretty stinking stuff!! But really interesting and fun!! Fri we jus went to the beach!! Ate out every nite and went to a wee bar and drank some spanish beer!!Darren made himself sick!!
