WOW, looks like a bad start in New zeeland, but I hope/and know that you had fun untilthen. I just got home, meet up with the guy i meet in thailand, got into a relationship within one week.. AND are now in Venezuela with him.. AND that a bad expirience too. well the country is beautifull and variated BUT the people are ATHTGHGHG and we've got stolen so many things, camera leatherman clothes. I'm never traveling in a big group again.. the guide is due to must irritation, like he don't wanna teel us what wee need. I think is just this place , nobody trust one and other... there's enormus fences all over!!! I have absolutly none freedom, cause we're not aloved to go out be our self really, and the gates closes at 19.00..... well, just wanted to let you know that not every travellstory is good. Hope you mangege, as you allways do!! LOVE Mikala

Lieve schat! I see that everyone is trying to speak English so I wouldn't dare not to. Anyway it's been so long since I spoke to you and that's why I'm sending you this message. I've been reading your journal ever since you've arrived and I'm terribly jealous! Especially the photo's you've uploaded recently have really drawn my attention. The coffee beans! Anyhow I understand from your last few entries in the journal that everything is looking up and that you're really enjoying your time in Vietnam. Good to hear! However you've told us a lot about the culture, people and food but do you see any leftovers of the war? That surely interests me, since it's not that long ago. Or maybe I missed it;p Anyway sorry I didn't speak to you on the phone recently but every time you're there I'm either gone or I got the Mexican flu (yeah it's really horrible but I'm seeing improvements now). So we're going to make a date for that soon! So say hello to young from my part, and to everyone else of course you meet on your journey and damn I seem so old when I'm talking English...
