| | | Guestbook | | | | | | Click here to leave a message | | | Hi
Just a final word, you have texted to say you have arrived safely back in the U.K. I have yet to speak to you, but I hope you will look back on the last few months with fond memories and take your experiences through life with you. You traveled with two true and valued friends and that in itself will be a cherished memory.
Look forward to seeing you, lots of love Mum xxx | | | | Glad the cousins looked after you well - I trust we will all still be able to go as I am sure you were on your best behaviour! Just thought you might like to know Chelsea beat MU yesterday and we have joined them at the top of the table - you will be back to see the last two games and see who comes out as champions - bet you can't wait! On your last leg now and it only seems like yesterday you were just leaving (although I am sure your Mum and Dad feel it's much longer)so enjoy Japan and look forward to seeing you soon with all the piccies and stories we have yet to hear! xx | | | | Hi Lizzy
you seem to be really enjoying New Zealand as I predicted you would. We are so pleased you managed to see all the family, I know it will make Granddad very happy. We had a great time in Cornwall was very sorry to have to return to kent!
Look forward to seeing you soon.
Lots of love Mum xxxxxxx | | | | Missed the caves, when we were there, but you can tell me all about when you are back. Sounds like you are having lots of fun and trying so many different things. We have been reliving the trip through our several hundred pictures, but is not the same as being there. Enjoy the remainder of your holiday | | | | Hi, Is this the real Lizzy leaving messages, TEA ! I think Jo was right she has been abducted - walking, vineyard tours, fruit, tea !!! Enjoy the rest of your time in NZ. Lots of love xx | | | | Apologies fot the half story the other day i was writing my blog and i ran out of time and i had no more coins. So i thought i would give you all the joy of half a story rather than nothing at all! I know you all live for the stories of how i am doing!!!
Jo...Glacier was awesome, legs were aching quite a lot the next day, much better now though, we went kayaking today though so arms will prob be aching next!
Grandad...Luge specialist indeed, I want to build one at home could be a good money maker! We do indeed have to now tackle the busier north island roads, we were so shocked how much busier it was. Driving round Wellington in the 'lorry' was quite stressful! There hasn't been much rain actually, but i fear we may get some in the next few days. We are seeing Toni and Alan tonight, so i'll be sure to show them the beard picture and recruit some more to the beard campaign! Laura and emily say hello, much love xxx
Chris..It took me quite a long time to decode your message, too much wine i thinks! There shall be no more bungy for me! Although laura paraglided and emily is sky diving 2day so that counts too! i shall be sure to say hi to Randy & Gail if i see them about!
Ellen..I think i did fare better than jo, she told me there was tears, the worst u had that i had so much enery after the jump i ran up the steps and nearly had a heart attack by the top! Plus i don't think everyone in new zealand heard my screams like jo!
Anne...Not sure why bungy is something i wanted to do to be honest, but its over now! I will indeed say hello to the new zealanders for you, starting with Toni and Alan later tonight. We have noticed the weather is getting warmer as we move north, especially at night. Happy birthday to TC!
Richard...For once i agree with you, jumping off the bridge is pretty mad, though strangely i would recommend it! I think that the rest of the harwicks will have to make there trips out here soon, rugby seems as good reason as any! Plus you sooo know who Susan Kennedy is, your a closet fan really!
Mum...I thought it might be best i didn't tell you about the bungy before i did it, plus apparently you told jonny you would rather not know so i kept it to myself, plus i wasn't sure myself i would go through with it! Scenery here is amazing much better than anywhere else we have visited and much better than home, got a few pictures to make you jealous and maybe persuade you its time to visit! Lorry is still going well!
Justine...Catching up over a glass or two sounds very good, i should know a lot after my wine tour but i don't really remember any of what they told us. Hope all is well as Crazy Cripps!
| | | | Morning Lizzy
All sounds good, but as Jo said, no mention of how glacier climb went or about your crossing from South to North Island which I understand is really beautiful.
Tea, well, well, well but you don't need sugar in it either! We had a good weekend in Jersey with Liz, Stuart and Ed. Natalie was there so it was really good to see her and catch up. It is so peaceful there and so far we have always been very lucky with the weather. My kind of place, although I have to say very different from when I used to go there to see Auntie Susan 30 years ago, it was far to commercial then!
Take care, Love Mum xx | | | | 'Queenstown and Glacier Climb'.... but no mention of the Glacier climb?!?! I trust you enjoyed, it is pretty much one of the best things ever though bet your still aching from it?! And btw Ellen - what are you saying about my bungy???????! Grrr! | | | | Hi Lizzy luv No.l champ bungy jumper and luge specialist. Thats eenough for all your efforts. Now you have to contend with the busy NZ roads! Especially if you follow the rain forest roads up to Greymouth. Trust you have a good amoumt of rain to keep you alive at the wheel. Post cards still coming - many thanks. Hope Emily keeps going straight with the campervan! All for now. Much luv and hugs xxx | | | | Hi Elaaaaaaaastic Girl! Guess what?............ OK I'll tell you, no imagination kids these days. Just had a PIZZA at your former hotel (you know the one you stayed at the longest without paying the rent, before you moved to the townships) - irony, upon irony eh! This pizza eating thing is not a nasty contagious disease caught off the toilet seat is it? The furry thing in charge, the excitable shadow, says woof!
Great bit of oneupwomanship the bungling bit, must mean you gotta do it again. Well done! Or is it paragliding or jumping out of a plane next?
Don't forget to endear yourself to our NZ cousins (actually you don't have to stop there, the whole country will do) and talk to them about the Rugby World Cup (but make sure you get home before England tour there this summer!) and the recent cricket test matches. It will make really interesting ice-breaking conversation because they will have forgotten about it.
If you come across Randy & Gail selling English sausages in the Tauranga/Bay of Plenty area say Hi from me. Back to the wine now. | | | | Congrats on the bungy!! You seemed to have fared better than Jo..!! (Not that I can really talk as I wimped out!) xx | | | | Hi Lizzy, I must admit that is something (bungeeeeeeeeeee)I never did when I went to NZ but I am sure you had fun !!!! Say Hi to our NZ relatives when you see them. Make sure you visit a thermal pool on your travels, lovely and warm, and very relaxing. Hopefully the weather will warm up as you travel north. The scenery is spectacular and so few people - bliss. TC's birthday tomorrow he will be 11 - got some crab for him - expensive tastes ! Keep enjoying XXXX | | | | Now I am impressed - jumping off a bridge with a rubber band round your ankles, you need your head tested! The DVD will make the top ten I am sure. NZ sounds quite a place and as your Mum said; now we can appreciate why we all need to visit - 2011 Rugby World Cup will be the time! Keep on trucking. xx | | Page: 1 2 3 4 5 6
