It was great to talk to you last night. We had a week-end of ups and downs. B's birthday party was great. Steph's move home was sad for us all but she's doing great now the the tension is off. She lost about 5 pounds! When I checked the rain gauge this morning and there was .45 inches from the four afternoon showers yesterday. Only the second measureable moisture this month. BC has major flooding and we're parched No gardening today but must do some new house/land stuff and patch Paros' blanket again. He would be all chewed up if he wasn't wearing it though, so I'll keep patching. Saw Karen's message with their dates to be in Canada. I talked to Anthea so that we can make sure to see them. Hi there girl,
If you have extra time in Cairns, try to make it out to the Tully River for a day of white water rafting. The river is class 4+ and is double the experience of any trip in Banff or Jasper. Plus, remember at Fraser Island to pick a 4x4 company that holds your lugage on top of the truck, not within. This will ensure much more comfort when you are cruising the sand dunes! Can't wait to hear more....keep the updates coming!

Hi Alexa, we are glad to hear that you have hooked up with some young people!Its very cold here in Melbourne at the moment so we are laying low. Hi there. Busy gardening. It's very dry. J07 calved today. A nice heifer. Now only 1 to go. Made another quilt and will learn how to finish them in the last two lessons. Went with Dad and Steph to get her new horse yesterday. He's a beauty. She'll tell you all about him. Starting to get ready to build the new house. Lane will cost less than anticipated. Love Mom |
