Hi, Just found your blog whilst reading about Uganda - very well written! I've just returned from working at Mulago hospital in Kampala for 2 months, and was wondering where the orphanage got the funds for healthcare from? One of the children, Dan, looks like he has something wrong with his left eye - is it a Retinoblastoma?
Keep up God's work,
Gemma |

Hey Lindsey~ I've always been a fan of your varied talents, and wow here you are sharing your experience with words and photos with a passion that makes me think I'm experiencing Uganda too. Your writing is very wonderfully genuine!
When I heard of your summer's plan I went to several Peace Corp blogs to get a sense of Uganda...there are a lot of USA folks there with you. Their tour is longer, but yours sounds busier. If boredom makes for a bad experience, it sounds like a great experience is destined for you. Be sure to leave them with more than you brought, and the value of what you'll bring home will be priceless. Blessings to you. Charlie |

It is such a joy to be able to hear your experience on a daily basis. I am with Genny babysitting Lucy and Oliver for the week. May God continue to bless you, the children, the mama's and all the volunteers. |

Hi, Grandma Sheryl kept me updated and to me you sound pretty busy- I would'nt be able to do what you're doing if I'd been watching kids all my life!! You've got courage!

I've loved reading what you've written so far, Lindsey! What an amazingly incredible experience!! So sorry about the pickpocket, but you've got something much more valuable now that no one can ever take from you. Can't wait to see all the pictures and hear the stories when you return.
Peace, love and grace,
