Hi dude.
Wow sounds like you've got some full days looking for jobs. Must be tough at the moment. It's always good to read what you're up to. You leave such good messages. I need to do the same, though I find it hard to get motivated.
I've been spending alot of time out bush in the villages. Seeing all the women pounding the millet. It's been a good time for me to practice my language. I've also been going down to this church that is just down the street and practicing there too during the week.
I now have three hens to look after, only two of them are laying so I think i'll eat the other one. No point wasting chicken feed if she ain't gonna give me any eggs.
Well that's all for now. I'll be sending out another prayer letter soon so I don't want to give too much away. Did you get my last one ok? I had such a wahala (problem) with the internet last time, and i've put some photos up on my blog.
Bye for now

So I hope you find something wonderfully and truly you very soon, yuck going to Work & Income 4 times a week!!!

Kelly-Jean Congratulations on graduating, you should be so proud of yourself for all the hard work you put in to now be the proud holder of a Certificate in performance music. We are hugely proud of you, well done.
Dont be sad KJ, you were not needed for this tour right now, and in time you will know why and as my wise old Mum used to say "one door closes & another opens" & all that stuff.....
Take care, all our love, good luck job hunting. N & T

Hi KJ
Congratulations on your graduation! Miss Lindy Broughton was telling me at church on Sunday how great it was to see you! I was/am very jealous indeed! Sorry you didn't get to tour - but now it's just on to the next big adventure!!! Which I hope (maybe selfishly) brings you Lincoln way! We could do breakfast again! We're all well here, Hugo and Oscar had slight disagreements about who should be living at 5 William St for a while, but they're over that I think. My puku is now the size of a house, which makes it interesting tying shoelaces.
Lots of love, hope to see you soon |

Hey KJ,
All the best for those exams. good to hear that the cold is subsiding if only a little bit. I've been in Niger for a week now and have experienced some very hot temperatures, the exciting news is that it is only going to get hotter over the month of october. Fortunately my first couple of months is language learning and we have fans and water coolers that blast out cold air. kinda sounds like a luxary huh? I had my first experience of a Nigerien church yesterday. i wish you could have been here to experience it, it was just amazing with all the choirs and drums and local instruments. I'm gonna take along my mp3 and record some so if i can i'll email you back a wee taste of an african church.
Take care
Love
