The part in your journal about OKTOBERFEST about made me pee my pants! I lived in Germany for 3 years and loved it! I am hoping to go back to live there or The Netherlands this year! I can't wait! Your journals are awesome! Hope mine will produce as many laughs! ;) |

I saw the pic of your street in Eschborn. A friend I was stationed with at Camp Eschborn a long time ago lived on that same street .The place hasn't changed in 35 years. I recognized it immediately. |

HI Katy
I just learned my great-grandfather came from Oberursel, Germany (1872) when he was 26. I wondered what it looked like and found your shots from Oberursel--thanks. I've been to Frankfurt twice but didn't know at the time where he was from, so I didn't try to look up any possible relatives. Oh well, I love to travel so I'm sure I'll get back some day. Enjoyed your other pictures too, you seem like someone fun to know!

I'm here...I'm here. Wow...great site and lots of fantastic shots. Keep it up; I'm moving to New Zealand for nine months next March (2007); I'll have to start a Traveljournal as well. Hope to see you this summer with U. Singers. You'll have to take attendance because I don't do that anymore! :)
