Hey!
I've set this up to keep you all updated with my years travels. I lived in Cusco, Peru, for a month doing some humanitarian work, after spending 7 weeks travelling across South America from Rio to Lima. I'm visiting South East Asia in November, then off to Oz, New Zealand and Fiji in early 2009 and on to a few places in Africa in the summer.
I haven't completely deserted medicine as I'm doing a few volunteer doctoring/medical learning placements over the year, but I'm also making the most of meeting new people and trying to learn a few new & different things, like the TEFL qualification I've just started. And that's it, basically!
So, lots of love to you all, I'll be missing everyone and looking forward to the next time I get to see you, but until then hopefully this journal will fill the Kat-shaped hole in your lives ;)
