Kate--just checked your website for the first and it's now my favorite! You are doing a fantastic thing...for both you and the people you meet. As you can tell from all the entries you are missed, loved and everyone is very proud. Keep up the great entries and we're all going to learn the language soon! I wish I had something fun to say the way Megan can, but then that's for your friends to do...I'll just do the mama thing and pray for your safety and happiness :) |

Kate keep your head up! You are a strong person and were blessed with the ability to adapt and make the best of any situation! Take care of yourself and dont' forget American Higene! (yeah i know it's probably spelled wrong but dont' forget to wipe and blow on something other than your hand!) You can do it! We are all here cheering for you! love you! |

Boy oh boy- only Megan Kelly would offer to come to E. Timor to paint some houses and plant some flowers! ;) But I have to agree, you are the person for the job! I was so happy to see some new journal updates and pictures, FINALLY! My dad just looked at the pictures and said "God Bless 'er!" So he is very proud as well. Hope all is well with you- glad to hear you are traveling and meeting new people! Miss you much! Please keep us updated!! |

wow kate sounds like an adventure! It's so serial hearing from you and it gives me a new perspective on life outside the US. I"m proud of you! You are definatly the right person for this job. Pictures are great! Maybe i should come over there and help them decorate their houses? Just a little paint and some flowers can go a long way! ;) So how far is the internet cafe from your house? are you getting to drink at all over there? i'm assumeing that the alcohol isnt' anything too great though. . . Do you ever get sad yet and wanna come home? Cause it seems like everything is so good over there, but is there anything taht you are scared about? Or just plain hate about the place? Look forward to hearing from you again and seeing more pictures! |

Hi Kate, Saw M&D yesterday at Aunt Pat's 75th surprise birthday party. We think what you're doing is awesome and we, too, are very proud of you. If there is anything that you need, that we could send, please let us know. The party was great and was well attended. It was held at a new winery and vineyard in Cape May. Naturally, I had to sample all the wines and became quite a bore for M&D. Again, we're very proud and would like to help in any way, short of joining you, that we can. Love, Aunt Noreen and Uncle Walt. P. S. I printed out most of your stuff for Aunt Kay. I know she will love hearing about what you are doing. |

Cause we all know a lovely home is a happy family! :) well miss you lots and can't wait to see some pictures and hear more. I check your journal every day to see how things are going. We are very proud of you and my pops tells everyone about your commitment more than he talks about us, his own wonderful children! Anyways be safe! love ya! |

Hey Kate the Great!
Is it sort of like being on your spring break trip to Florida there in East Timor?
We're all thinking about your "adventure"... is there a large Vegan Population there?
Love - Emmy and Uncle Pete! |
