What a great trip. It looks and reads like you are getting pretty deep into the culture. I can't wait to hear more stories, but told in person.
Ciao,

Jessilea! I hope Pache Mama heard your prayers and believed you were sincere as you blew gently on the coca leaves, and that she rewarded you with sun on Machu Pichu!
Traveling with you was muy chevere! Gracias for the memories!
See you soon!

Jessi,
Your trip looks awesome. I still need to read through your journals. Funny how you stopped to check out construction. Is that an old school concrete mixer I see. You should know better than mixing work with vacation. Kickball is starting up soon. Looking forward to hearing some stories from ya. |

Wow, what a great time...Hi Jess...love your new look...you have a knack for getting to incredibly beautiful and poignant places. (But that seems to run in your family) Thanks for sharing it with your pics. Stay safe and dry. Love to you. Jan and Mike |

Dude-that cathedral is huge. Cool picture. I'm about to buy a dual sport and drive with some guys down to Cabo. Don't tell mom and dad.
Oh wait...
"I tried to tell a Smokey the Bear joke in England, so I asked if they have Smokey the Bear, but they don't. Cause in England, Smokey the Bear is not the forest fire prevention representative. They have Smacky the Frog...it's like a bear but it's a frog...I think that's a better system, I think we should adopt it...cause bears can be mean...but frogs are always cool...there's never been a frog hopping toward me and I think 'man, I better play dead, here comes that frog'"-Mitch Hedburg |

Jess, I just read all your journal entries (so I'm a bit behind...). Thanks for putting up a travel journal - it's fantastic, and so good to see what you're up to! We miss you here. I know when you get back that you're going to put me to shame with your mastery of the spanish language. ;-) So jealous. Love, Cat |

Hope you have reason to be a tap dancing civil engineer in South America. Expect you to be speaking fluid spanish by the end of the first week. We think of you often.

What a slacker you are, not working for so long and traveling. Oh, wait....ummmm. Scratch that, carry on. Welcome to the good life, Jess. But I'm still bitter that you're not going to visit me in Patagonia. Que te vaya bien y mucho suerte con aprendiendo castallano. |

Ha ha! First guestbook message! Jess, this is so great, I'm so proud I get to be your brother, and I'm jealous because north shore had much better snow than south shore and we skiied on rocks all weekend. |
