Hello everyone! Sorry we haven't updated this for soooo long - internet cafes seem to be few & far between in Australia! We're only here for half an hour or so (got to find somewhere to stay tonight!) but we promise we'll update this fully as soon as we can. Thanks for all your messages - great to hear from you Brian!

Well, here's a blast from the very dark and distant past. I got a phone call last night from your Dad, who is working close to where we live. He came over for dinner, told us about your globetrotting exploits and I thought I'd log in and say Hi. Haven't seen you guys for years, but you're looking well and it would be great to catch up sometime when you get back. Immensely jealous, but hope you have a great time.

Hi you two. Its great that you're having such a wonderful trip. Graeme just can't get his head around the fact you may prefer doing this rather than working with him in his office?!!!!!!!! Take great care Love from us both

Well you buggers. To OZ at last, the warm hum of civilisation around you. The friendly buzz of aussie accents, the clear and welcome disregard for any PC handwringing nonsense. Beer on every table, didgeridoos, ayers rock, relentless sun, but most importantly the birthplace of the most important band in rock, AC/DC. Which will be lost on a pair of musical buffoons like you. No matter, tonight I lie in repose, a man drunk but capable, happy and fat on the knowledge that the mighty hammer of Thor did indeed smote the unlucky Bob. Who made the fundamental mistake of measuring between live busbars with a metal tape and created the first barbecue pit/turbine. (Ask the folks). Where in god's name are my cd's.......

Hi girls, bit of a sad one I'm afraid. Just to let you know that Suzy and I have decided to put the kids to Dr. Barnardo's to be fostered out. On a lighter note though, we're doing Glastonbury, T in the Park, Rockness, Leeds and Reading, Download and to help us get over the pain and loss we're spending a month snorkelling in Bermuda before heading to Nevada to do the Burning Man.........WAHEYYY!! Clearly we're devastated but we'll soldier on.

Aha good day. So, to the land of beer and criminals. Never mind, one day you too could enjoy a downpour in galeforce winds whilst dangling furiously at 150ft. Incidently a man telephoned me at a most inconvenient time, demanding money in an outlandish accent. Happened years ago, probably of no relevance. Keep it in mind though, stranger things are worth two in the bush I'm told. Will you meet an aboriginal? Demand to learn the mystic skill of the didgeroo (keep it clean) and relay the spells to me via the arrange-small-stones-in-a-pattern method. Excellent. Now, to the temple for a quiet lie-down.
