Hi. Hope you don't mind me asking, but I'm going travelling in 10 weeks with my boyfriend and we'll be visiting Bali for 30 days. See my blog "jemandtaz" on traveljournals. I was wondering what it was like budgeting over there. We were thinking we'd be spending around £100 a week on hotels (200 USD) between us and around £60 a week (120 USD) on food and busses etc. Would you say this was reasonable? Thanks in advance for any advice you can give us, Jemma and Taz. PS - you're blog's really cool, and really inspiring!! |

The 99p menu is still going strong. But they don't take telephone orders, as i found out!! There is an excellent Afro-Caribbean supermarket a couple of doors away as well. I might add i don't go to Tennessee alone!!! |

I'm so glad that I have directed someone else to the the church that is known as Tennesee Chicken, where all that is deep fried is good. I used to worship there atleast once a week.
I hope they still have the 99p offer of 4 mighty fine spicy chicken wings with a load of fries when i eventually get back.

Jag, I have been doing some travelling myself, down to Lozells during my lunch hour to go to the might fine Tennessee Chicken Place, you recommended. I got a Veggie Burger, loads of chips and a can of diet Pepsi for £1.99. Nearly as cheap as Thailand. Fantastisch!! |
