Hello! We were searching for Wimborne and we came across your journal bloggy! You look like you have an exciting life we are much the same. Today we came back from camping in Cornwall, in a nine man tent which we put up alone (we are two weedy 18 year old girls).
Anyway just to say carry on with your fun adventurous quest!

Hi Jenn:
Just read up your trip to Cheddar, by the sounds of things you did not buy any cheese while there. It is amazing what one can discover while travelling especially with someone who lives in the country. We had a wonderful time today meeting all your grandpa's and Dilys'friends and other family members for their 25 Anniversary. The food was good and we had Sharon, John, Laura, and her sister as well as Paul and your dad, Ken and Aunt Lillian, myself and then Audrey Freeland and one of her sons sitting at our table and talked of old times on Ferris Road and how everyone has grown up. Chatted with the Rathbone twins and others. Emma and Jacob are certainly growing up fast and are getting quite tall. Janice and Gab came up from Texas and it was nice to see them again. Lots of pictures were taken so no doubt you will see them when you come home for September......well love to you and take care of yourself while travelling.....Beverley. |

Well Jenn, I had to look up Marmite. Sounds yummy................NOT! ;)
Marmite is a type of thick, dark brown spread which is closely associated with Britain. The savory spread is made from a concentrated yeast sludge, a byproduct of the beer brewing process

Hi Jenn...
Guess who is moving back to Toronto, hopefully you will be able to meet in September if the move from Ottawa has taken place, yes, your cousin Heather and her family, as Ed will be working at the University of Toronto, coaching the Men's Volleyball team. Have you watched any of the Under 20 Soccer (Male) that has been going on for the past week in Canada? Unfortunately, our Canadian team did not fare very well. Did you get to see or actually go to the concert at Wembly Stadium for the Birthday Part for Princess Diana? I watched it on the tele (TV in Canadian). It was very well done and the Princes should be pleased with all the interest and effort not only from themselves but many others who helped. I am pleased you are enjoying your job and all the theatre endeavours you will be parttaking in. Just to let you know Ken is improving and is able to walk again on his own for short distances only. Sorry, you are going to miss the 25th Anniversary of your grandfather and Dilys. It is hard to believe that 25 years have passed, and so much has taken place in that time. Please take care while travelling and enjoy your trip to Crete....Love your cousin |

Hey Jenn!
Life certainly sounds exciting in Britain - so glad you have this opportunity! Just thought I'd share a tidbit of news with you too - I moved to Pickering with my daughter AND I am now employed at Ryerson too - I'm on a 6-month contract, covering Liz Gesicki's job (she's on an extended leave of absence currently). So who knows where this all may lead! Hope all is well!

best post ever Jenn. I really enjoyed that.
good job setting the pizza on a hot oven!
it's crazy how many things are different in another country. I could come up with a list just as long of things about the sates. I thought we were the same but way better....I was very wrong |

Jenn you can't blame England for you putting a dark blue towel in with your whites! You only have yourself to blame for that!!! |

Hi Jenn.
Finally, got a minute to catch up with you and your adventures. I am glad you were able to see Elton John...concerts are so exciting and you come away feeling happy about buoyed for days. My last concert was in February to see Josh Groban, what an experience and he has a beautiful voice, I could listen to him for hours, which I am doing at this moment while writing to you.
I visited with Andrea last weekend and enjoyed my time with her and Mark and of course Rebecca who is 17 months today, but in her mind is age 40. She is a very happy, clever child.
Just to let you know Ken is in hospital as he had a bad fall last night and the doctor is keeping him at the hospital to find out the cause of this. I will keep you informed on this.
Congratulations on getting an interesting job and hopefully you will be successful in getting some parts in plays. Keep us posted and take care of yourself, especially while travelling. When is your mother coming over to spend time with you?
Well, Jenn, talk to you soon.....your cousin Beverley. |
