OMG - I thought your comment about checking in 2 suitcases and an oven was hilarious. My friend in Bremen did tell me that when you move you take your kitchen with you. I didn't think to ask her: "What if your cabinets don't fit the walls of your new house". I didn't realize the same thing goes for apartments as well. I'd like to keep in touch, as my sister and I are thinking of moving to Germany and we will undoubtly have questions for you. Thank you for sharing your experience! |

Hello Karen! We wanted to thank you for creating this website because our daughter is now at the Mill in Mosbach, training for the Logos II. Seeing all your pictures helped us to feel like we know what it's like over there. Elysse just arrived this morning. If you meet her, you can tell her we've seen it all and she doesn't need to send pictures...just kidding!! It would be great if she could make a website just like yours, maybe you could help her. Anyway, thank you so much for giving us a peak at your life. It was fun to discover your page. May you know His love deeply and spread it everywhere!! Thanks, The Redmond Family |

Hi there Karen!
You don't know me. I just found your journal entries interesting since I too was a volunteer on the Logos II in 1991 when the ship came to Brazil, more specifically to Rio de Janeiro. I wrote a journal entry with my experience and posted it on TJ.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and wish you all the best in your work at the ships Ministry headquarters in Mosbach - if your still working there.
God bless, Claudio |

What a treat it is to read your humorous emails - they are a real tonic. Please keep them coming. What an awesome experience this year in Germany has been for you - something you will treasure for the rest of your life. The pictures are super and for me it is a case of "I wish I was there". What we saw of Germany in 1990 really impressed us, and one day we would love to go back.
The Lord go with you and continue to bless you as you do His work in Germany.
Blessings,
Katy CCC |

WOW!! These pictures are amazing! I can only imagine the exciting journey that you are experiencing right now. I enjoy reading about your adventures and what God has blessed you with. Keep the pictures and the updates coming. Even though I spend my days sitting in my little 8x5 cube, your journals and pictures almost make me feel like I am standing right there next to you.
God bless, Tara |

Hello Karen! We loved your latest e-mail and enjoy seeing your pictures. If I remember correctly from when Beth and Brad moved to Italy, if you move there you also have to "bring your own bathroom"! |

Hi Karen! I love to hear about your adventures. I also love looking at your pictures, I really want to visit Germany someday. Have you learned any German? About all I remember from German class is "Guten Tag" and "Ich weiss nicht", which are two phrases I'm sure you've learned. :) |

Hi, Karen,
Really enjoyed your pictures! Made me want to visit Germany--I've only seen parts of Spain, England and France. My husband and I are thinking of going to England to visit my brother in August--maybe then! God bless! |
