Have you thought about blogging in Philadelphia?

Let's pretend this is your yearbook page. I just read your Things I'll Miss blog. I'll miss you so much it won't even be funny. I'll have to make a little Matt shrine and leave pieces of KetchiCandies and a Buffalo Chicken Wrap next to a picture of you. Maybe I can find an eternal flame. But, you're not gone yet, so there's still time to squeeze in another pseudo fight about Go Fish. Good times. I'm so glad that you invited me to hang out this summer, and that we survived leaky ceilings, strange locals, and bear attacks in the strange but wonderful fourth largest city in Alaska. We'll have to do this again sometime. Somewhere else, though!

Matt- I was in IA last weekend. We had a family wedding so we passed through Dubuque twice - they miss you! We miss so hurry up and come back to Beloit for at least a day. Can't wait to see you. You need Addie huggies before you head off to Philly. Safe Travels! Tracy

Hey-hey! Here in B-town finishing up my last week in Admissions for the summer. I'll be back in the fall, which is right around the corner. Moving in on Wednesday, the boyfriend is leaving for Ecuador next Tuesday, and vball practice starts next Monday. Time flies! Just wanted to let you know I've been keeping up with you.

Matt, I retook the test. My new city is Greenville,SC.Apparently I should be in the Carolinas or Tennesee as those were most of the areas picked. Must be my aversion to snow & cold winters. Jeff, have you taken the test?!

So I guess I was destined to live in CA as my top spots included San Jose, Long Beach, San Francisco, Oakland, San Diego, Orange County, LA, and Sacramento. My other options were mostly in Oregon with a few randoms like Little Rock and Shrevport. My #1 spot though was Honolulu. If I was rich I would totally move there in a heartbeat! Miss you - k

so after taking the survey the first time the other day, i took it again to see if all the new york places that came up were a fluke....they were. the second time around I had no NY places, although a lot of New England areas. But Portland was number 1 on my list. I would totally move there.

OK, I'm not so sure about this my spot thing. I ended up in Louisiana for my top two cities. Alexandria and Shreveport. After that I am off to beautiful Arkansas and West Virginia - do I hear banjoes (sp?). I am sure these are all nice places, just not sure about my living in them. I must be one of the few people that checked the south as an ok place to live. I was thinking Austin, TX, not Little Rock.

My top city was Portland, Oregon as well! I guess so many Beloiters hail there for a reason. And in case you were wondering, the answer is yes. I did take this quiz while at work. Miss you Matt!

That was so funny to read about talking to the high school kids about "the outside world". and just think---petersburg doesn't even have a mcdonalds, and has about 1/5th the population of ktn. and they think THEY are isolated. :)

Hi Matt, or should I say, Mr. Alaska! I love the travel journal! It totally brightened my boring Monday morning reading about your plunger issues and bald eagle experiences. Sounds like a great time, except for the plunger part! Glad to hear your having fun! Take care - Karla.

Hey Matt--that was quite the update. I've been thinking about you, knowing you were in Ktn and working (i think) for cruise west. it sure sounds like you are having a great time, of which is great to hear. I was just aboard the "sheltered seas" for 2 days, a quite little trip up to juneau and back. it was fun, lots of humpback whales....of course rainy weather but hey, welcome to southeast alaska. anyway glad to hear things are going well, i'd love to hear more about what you think of the job and all in ktn. enjoy and take care! -Susie
