Hey Kelley and Heath!!!! You are almost back home. We have missed you both. Flannigan and I are doing fine, we love reading about your adventures. I sent my little 4 year old away instead of babysitting so now I'm job hunting. It's been raining for the past 3 weeks BLAH Oh yeah Mom just had her appendix out she's okay and resting. Have lots of fun and eat nummie food! Love S and F |

Hi H&K (AKA Vegan Posse)-
I just read your "Unlikely Teachers" story. I know the feeling of being excited to reach out and meet a very new a different person and then...
You're walking down a dark alley asking yourself "Why was I raised to take chances, trust people, and scare my self?" Glad it all turned out for the best, mine did too.
I miss you guys. I am glad you're having great adventures. I sent you an email and gave you my two email addresses as well.
Peace and Love in 2006! :-) |

The Adventurers,
I think you should get on a plane or bus and go to Angkor Wat. You may have good luck with sun breaks. Anyway, you are from western Washington where rain never is an issue and doesn't stop you from getting out there. So, brave the thunderstorms which come and go and make the trek. It will be impressive rain or shine and well worth it.
Wishing you a safe journey,
Love, Dad |

DEar Kelley & Heath,
Great to read about your adventures in NW Thailand. We are all fine here. Jeanette, Sharon, Ryan, Brett, Amanada and Shayne were at my place Thanksgiving day. It was fun to have all of us together but of course we were missing you two!
Brett and I went up to Crystal Mtn. yesterday and the snow was awesome. Clear and sunny = not too many people. We had a fun day.
Enjoy, respect and embrace the differences in culture, traditions, customs and beliefs you are encountering on this journey. Keep your eyes, ears, mind and heart open and this experience will change you.
Be safe...
Love, Dad

Great to hear of your adventure in Bangkok. I know on your return you will be able to see more sights there. Be sure to get up into the mountains and see the beautiful Doi Suthep Temple. You will not regret it. You can also enjoy the Mae Sa Valley on the way.
Good travels!!

Hey Kel & Heath!
Sorry we didn't get to say good-bye. I will miss you guys for Thanksgiving. I'm making a spinach and artichoke dip with lots of cheese! We're having a cheesy good time this year, no vegan food! It will be weird without all your healthy good cookin'. I think Brett will like all the cheese, although Silk Nog is still the best! How is Bangcock? How do you spell it too! Do you have a digital camera to post pictures on your super travel journal? We'll take care of yourselves and try not to get food poisioning, stay away from the mayo!(I got sick from a bad sandwich last week). You may be safer there than I am! Love you guys!

Sounds to me like a start of an excellent journey to the east. Enjoy the food, scenery, and culture for all your friends at SFBE. ....That means another round of drinks and then some! Hope your travels go smoothly and that you meet some incredible people along the way.
