These are blogs about my 2008 trip to Peru and Easter Island. I wrote in a journal, during my trip and am currently / slowly transfering it on to this website. I don't usually write much, so I would like to apologize for my bad spelling / use of grammer ect! But hope you find some enjoyment reading about some of the experiences my good friend Billie and myself, encountered.

To give you an idea, our itiniery went as follows;

-We first arrived in Lima, Peru, and flew to Puerto Maldonado, to spend 5 days in the Amazon Jungle with Rainforest Expeditions.
-Then we flew to Cusco, travelled the Sacred Valley and saw the ever so awe inspiring Machu Picchu.
-Then, went to Pisac, back to Cusco.
-Flew from Cusco to Juliaca, travelled to Copacabana / Tiwanako, Bolivia.
-Bussed it to Arequipa, Colca Canyon and Toro Muerto Petroglyphs.
-Then took a suicide bus to Nasca, Pisco and back to Lima.
-Then off to Easter Island via Santiago, Chile, for 6 days.

It was a whirlwind tour for us because of my limited time away from work.(4 weeks) But we made the best of it. Taking advantage of the local flights, cramming in as much as we could see. Easter Island gave us a nice break at the end of the trip. It was such a laid back place to visit.
