I'm moving to Trinidad in a month to teach at an international school. I'm travelling alone so I'm a little afraid. I found your journals while doing a search and I'm glad I did. I feel a little less afraid now. Thanks! |

Thanks for your message, Hankster! Yeah, not long to go until I return home now - it's been a blast though travelling this part of the world. I'll be editing the blog when I get home and perhaps I'll update it from time to time with any news or interesting stories. Gotta get back and start earning some quids (pounds!) now - when I hit the road again I'll let you know. Good luck with everything yourself, Felicity |

Cool photos Hank, having been in the Netherlands, Wilemstad is interesting to see! At least the port area, it looks like a tropical island-version of towns in Holland, with it's gabled houses, but in bright pretty colors!
I forgot to ask you if you've been to Venezuela yet?
And did you see Barack when he was in Trinidad? Did you tell him I said hello?
:) -hugs,

Hi,
I came across your pics searching for Carnival 09. I am a native of TnT and this makes me homesick. Judging from the pics, I know you all had a blast. Thank you for posting those. |

Hi Hank:
I just love looking at your posted photos and traveling with you! What a great idea.
Thanks for the well-wishes on my upcoming trip - I am very excited and looking forward to great sights and wonderful food and seeing old dear friends as well as meeting new! Plus I love Tom's music so it's a win-win for me all the way around :)
You take care - God bless you my dear travelin' friend.
