Wow, sounds like you've been busy. That all sounds amazing, but a lot of hard work! Hope you've enjoyed it all, it sounds like you're having a brilliant time. Can't wait to see some pictures! Missing you lots back here in a Helen-less Cheltenham. It's so strange to think how far away you are! Hope you carry on enjoying yourself, looking forward to reading your next entry. xxxxx

Hi Helen great to read all about your trek and that you enjoyed it despite a few little local difficulties!! Very envious of views of seals penguins etc. Not so envious of the cold. Cant wait to see the pics

Helen, you chose well to be in NZ this weekend as your parents have benn to stay this w/e. You missed an English Heritage (Down House) AND National Trust (Ightahm Mote) trip! Apparently. you're just starting the last day of your trek, hope it's been good. Looking forward to news and photos!

Erm.... what's with the complaining about the in-flight entertainment? I got to watch brokeback mountain and a cute film about huskies back to back twice on the way to austrailia - and I LOVED it! Glad you got there eventually. Have you run into Craig Parker yet? If you do remember not to go crazy, you don't want to be arrested just yet really :P Have fun, take care of yourself. Lots of love, fran x x x

Boo! Just when I seem to have wafted back off into the mists of Americoblivion, I return! I can always be counted on to reemerge at strange times, like the lanky, awkward misery I am. Perhaps the person writing the novel of your life got writer's block, and decided to bring back a character from an earlier series. But returning to the main point, yay for New Zealand! May one continue to enjoy one's trip. Incidentally, if you are after possums, they are frequently to be found pancake'd on the road around here. If you need a hook-up, I can pop one in the post.....this has gotten very long.)
