Hi,
I have loved going through your photos of Australia, my late husband and I toured all around Australia, so it brought back a lot of memories for me. You had been to a few different places & with you being young you could walk further than we could so saw a lot more than we could. I picked that you were English by the colour of your skin & noticed that you had started to get a tan darker at each place you went to. I went to England in 2006 it was 50 years since we had emigrated to Australia, I spent 6 months and really enjoyed it. I have cousins still over there and I am planniing to go back next March for 3 months, maybe see Ireland & Wales this time, I saw London & Scotland as well as Yorkshire last time. Hope you will come back again one day.
All the best

Looks and sounds amazing, as always. Sounds like you're really enjoying it, I'm very jealous of everthing you've been doing! Hong Kong looks gorgeous... I hear you're back soon (yay!), let me know when you are, because I'm back home for a week starting the 18th for revision, would be good to see you and make sure you get your birthday presents! (And the Xmas ones I never got the chance to give you!). Enjoy the last few days xxx

It's been really interesting reading your journals and seeing the photos but we've specially enjoyed hearing about what you've been eating!! How many times have you had chish and fips?? See you at the weekend.

Great pictures. Loved the temple especially, since a lot of the Chinese and Japanese symbols are the same--I got to dork out every time I recognized one. Thanks for brightening the day of an impovrished uni student sitting in College Park (dire) trying to adapt the most depressing book on the face of the earth (written by a Frenchman) into a stage play. Nothing takes the edge of that like a picture of some cute lizards.
P.S. Is Hong Kong really as smoggy as it looks?

We're all following your travels on the atlas - good for Ben's GCSE geog! Chris very interested you had been to the museum of medical science. (Watch out or he'll be sending you copies of his Medicine Through Time books!) Edmund would like to have details of the company you did your tour with from Perth which sounded great. We had a really good family reunion with Sue, Edwin, Nigel and Jane the weekend before last and this last BH weekend went to Devon with friends, walking the coast path, playing cricket on the beach etc. lots of love from us all Jennifer

What a fantastic time you have had in W Australia, apart from the dodgy accommodation in hostels! Enjoy Hong Kong - hope it's not tooo humid there! By the way, what funny little lizards you met - quite cute little faces!
Love Mum

Once again great to read your diary entry Helen. Love hearing about all the animals you've seen. Hope your back to some decent sanitation now - not nice!!! Enjoy the next leg of your journey.

Hi
Glad it's all going so well and it sounds like u r having a real ball.
No comment from Emily as she's in the "only 3 weeks of school left" panic mode!
Looking to pick up some good tips for the mega hol Bob and I have promised ourselves - was always going to be sampling the culinary delights of India but has now evolved into a tour of the vineyards of Australia!!!
Have fun and keep safe.
Karen & Bob
